An intensive 3-day course that immerses you in a series of practical training exercises suitable for those who work in the specialty coffee industry or are seriously considering becoming a barista. Students with a solid knowledge of basic skills learn to work efficiently behind the bar, to do latte art, to keep the equipment in proper condition and to master customer service skills.
Successful candidates should be able to create and prepare a recipe, prepare a wide range of drinks with quality and speed, as well as understand the basic requirements for high-level customer service and equipment maintenance.
Due to Covid, student will have the option of taking the class in a Hybrid format: Classes are ONLINE-LIVE. Exercises and Practical exam will be arranged with the AST on private sessions.
Then, learners will take the SCA Barista Skills Intermediate practical exam. They must then complete a written exam alone online. By completing the course work and passing the exams, students earn 10 points towards the SCA Coffee Skills Diploma.

Once you have booked and your payment is confirmed, we will begin the process of preparing your class. Although we understand that there are situations beyond our control that may require you to reschedule or cancel your reservation, our refund and rescheduling policy reflects the costs incurred in preparing the scheduled class.
Refund Policy: Training fees are fully refundable if training is canceled at least 14 days prior to the start of the course. No cancellation is available with less than 2 business days notice, however you can reschedule with the corresponding rescheduling fees.
Rescheduling Fees: No fee is applied if rescheduling is requested at least 14 days before the start of the course. A rescheduling fee of US $150 will apply if rescheduling is requested less than 14 days prior to the start of the course.
