SCA ROASTING FOUNDATION

Learn about the roasting process, including the roasting cycle and its levels, identification of defects, the physical changes that the coffee bean undergoes during the roasting process and the management of the workspace and the production cycle. This course is suitable for beginners and amateurs alike and is a solid introduction to roasting, both theoretically and practically. 

This is a 1-day course, which lasts from 9am to 5pm, includes lunch, snacks and refreshments. Coffea School provides lunch. Upon completion of the course work, students will have 21 days to take the SCA Roasting Foundation written exam online. After passing the exam, students will earn their SCA Roasting Foundation certificate. This course may be taken in presence or in an Online LIVE format.
