SCA ROASTING FOUNDATION
Learn about the roasting process, including the roasting cycle and its levels, identification of defects, the physical changes that the coffee bean undergoes during the roasting process and the management of the workspace and the production cycle. This two-day course is suitable for beginners and amateurs alike and is a solid introduction to roasting, both theoretically and practically. Coffea School provides lunch.
This is a 2 days course from 9am to 3pm, but can be extended if needed, each day including snacks and refreshments. Coffea School provides lunch. Upon completion of the course work, students will have 21 days to take the SCA Roasting Foundation written exam online. After passing the exam, students will earn their SCA Roasting Foundation certificate. This course may be taken in presence or in an Online LIVE format.
