This 4-day Intensive SCA Roast Combo course provides foundation and intermediate level  specialty coffee knowledge to develop roasting skills. It will cover topics as the roasting cycle and its stages, physical and chemical changes, roasting defects, profile roasting, protocols and much more.

An intensive 4-day course that immerses you in a series of practical training exercises suitable for those who work in the specialty coffee industry or are seriously considering becoming a roaster. 

The class will last three days 9am-5pm each day including lunch (time will be extended if needed), snacks and refreshments. Coffea School provides lunch. Upon completion of the course work, students will take the SCA Roast Foundation written exam online  and the Intermediate practical & written exam online. After passing the exams, students will earn two certificates towards the SCA Roastery Diploma.

Once you have booked and your payment is confirmed, we will begin the process of preparing your class. It takes time, effort and coffee materials to have everything ready for you to attend this course.

These courses have limited seats and sell out or require minimum enrollment in order to be held; canceling the course would therefore mean preventing other students from attending.

You can reschedule 20 or more days before the start of your course. 

You may request a refund 20 or more days before the start of the course LESS A 20% FEE.

Within 20 days from the start of your course,  rescheduling or cancellations are no longer possible.
