SCA Roasting Intermediate is the perfect way to take your coffee roasting to the next level. Achieve optimal benchmark profiles in an efficient and accurate manner. You will monitor, evaluate, and refine your craft with precision.

Take your coffee roasting skills to the next level. We immerse you in a series of practical training exercises. Among other things, this is what you will learn:

• Identify and prevent roasting defects;
• Visual and chemical changes of the coffee beans during the roasting process;
• Planning and execution of optimized roasting profiles;
• Implementation of protocols for consistency and for continuous quality improvement;
• Application of efficient workspace design and workflow management.

This is a 3-day course from  9am-4pm each day including snacks and refreshments (time will be extended if needed). Coffea School provides lunch. Upon completion of the course work students will take the SCA Roasting Intermediate practical exam students will have 21 days to take the their written exam online. After passing the exam, students will earn their SCA Roasting Intermediate certificate.

These courses have limited seats and sell out or require minimum enrollment in order to be held; canceling the course would therefore mean preventing other students from attending.

You can reschedule 20 or more days before the start of your course. 

You may request a refund 20 or more days before the start of the course LESS A 20% FEE.

Within 20 days from the start of your course,  rescheduling or cancellations are no longer possible.
