SCA SENSORY SKILLS FOUNDATION

This comprehensive course is designed to equip coffee aficionados and professionals with the sensory skills necessary to start their path in the coffee industry. Through hands on coursework, students will develop an understanding of coffee flavors and aromas, quality assessment terminology, and an ability to cup coffee. The program facilitates sensory skills training and provides the tools for students to evaluate coffee with confidence.

Learn the basics of sensory evaluation in a practical and interactive way. The Sensory Skills module delves into the way we perceive what we taste, in the evaluation of the natural characteristics of coffee and in the introduction of this knowledge in our business.

The class will last two days from  9am-3pm each day. Registration includes certificate cost, lunch, snacks, refreshments and coffees. Upon completion of the course work, students will have 21 days to take the SCA Sensory Skills Foundation written exam online. This course may be taken in presence or in an Online LIVE format.
